Good flexibility: The minimum radius of curvature that the solar flex panel can achieve is 50cm (19.68 inches). Allows installation on trailers, boats, cabins, tents, cars, trucks, trailers, yachts, trailers, roofs or any other irregular surface.
Lightweight & Easy to Install: It is only 0.1 inches in height and weighs only 3.97 pounds, making it very suitable for invisible solar assembly. And the solar panel is easy to transport, install, hang and remove.
Use of stacked cell module technology: Stacked tile modules without main grid, no welding tape design can increase the effective cell area by about 13%, and the power is increased by about 15W. So for the same wattage, stacked tile solar panels have a smaller area.
High quality materials: The solar panels are made of ETFE material, which has a higher light transmission and longer service life than ordinary materials. The back panel is made of TPT, which is good for heat dissipation, waterproof, high temperature resistant and easy to clean
High conversion efficiency: High efficiency monocrystalline silicon solar cell with unique back contact technology to remove the electrodes blocking sunlight on the surface of the solar cell, making the solar panel conversion efficiency 50% higher than ordinary.

We purchased two panels two weeks ago for our catamaran to replace some old deck mounted flex panels that were not producing much power. The one panel we have received so far (the other one was lost by USPS so we had to order another one which has not arrived) is connected to our Victron MPPT controller and is showing 70 to 100 watt output. So with full sun it is not close to the 180 watt output but certainly better than the old panels. If we ever get the other panel, we may have an additional 150 to 200 watts added to our 1.2 kW main solar array. The downside of this panel is that it does not have any grommets so it has to be glued down which may or may not be an issue because the panel is very light weight. Also, shipping from the vendor is very slow and may be unreliable. That, the lack of grommets and the less than expected output are the reasons I did not give it 5 stars.

EDIT- June 10th 2023, I have installed the 4 new panels, Alrska was very quick sending me replacements, and the output is much better. I am seeing 400-600 watts during peak sun. If the panels maintain this output over time I will be satisfied. Good customer service and prompt replacement of the first batch of defective panels. I’ll be watching the output over time and will report back in a few months.
EDIT May 24 2023, Alrska has sent me 4 replacement panels and I am impressed with the turn-around time and their response. I will be testing the panels before installing and will update this review at that time.
Bought 4 of the 180W panels in September of 2022 and installed on the roof of my travel trailer. Initially I saw 500-600 watts from the 4 panels. Now 7 months later I am getting about 260 watts from all 4 panels. Tested at each panel they are delivering about 86 watts apiece in full sun near noon in New Mexico. Very disappointing and I am kicking myself for not getting a better brand for a few dollars more. Now I’ll have to replace all 4 and this time I’ll go with a brand with better reviews and customer support.

One of the standout features of this solar panel is its flexibility. Unlike traditional rigid solar panels, the Alrska panel is made of high-quality monocrystalline cells that are embedded in a flexible and durable material. This allows the panel to be bent up to 30 degrees, making it perfect for mounting on uneven surfaces such as the roof of a boat, van, or RV. The flexibility also means that it can be easily installed in various locations, providing convenience and versatility.
With a power output of 100 watts, this solar panel is capable of generating a substantial amount of energy to power your devices and appliances. Whether you need to charge your batteries, run small electronics, or keep your lights on, this panel can handle the job. Its efficiency and reliability make it a reliable power source, even in challenging environments.
Another notable feature of the Alrska 100 Watt Flexible Solar Panel is its construction. The panel is made with ETFE (Ethylene Tetrafluoroethylene) material, which is known for its durability, corrosion resistance, and excellent light transmittance. This ensures that the panel can withstand harsh weather conditions, including rain, snow, and high temperatures. Additionally, the ETFE material is easy to clean, allowing the panel to maintain its performance over time.
Installation of the panel is straightforward and hassle-free. It comes with pre-drilled holes and mounting hardware, making it easy to secure the panel in place. The lightweight design of the panel also adds to its ease of installation and portability.
Overall, I’ve been impressed with the Alrska 100 Watt Flexible Solar Panel. Its flexibility, high power output, and durable construction make it a reliable and efficient choice for off-grid power needs. If you’re looking for a solar panel that can adapt to uneven surfaces and withstand various weather conditions, I highly recommend considering the Alrska 100 Watt Flexible Solar Panel.

I recently purchased this Alrska 100W Flexible Solar Panel, and I have been thoroughly impressed with its performance and versatility. This lightweight solar panel has become an essential addition to my outdoor tech gear providing a reliable and efficient charging solution for my portable power needs. One of the standout features of the Alrska solar panel is its lightweight design, weighing in at under 4 pounds. This makes it incredibly portable and easy to transport, allowing me to bring it along on my camping and boating trips without adding unnecessary weight or bulk. The panel’s practical design includes six small grommet rings placed at each corner and in the middle, enabling me to secure it to my boat or camper using paracord or bungee cords with hooks. This feature ensures that the panel remains securely in place, even during movement or adverse weather conditions. Built to withstand the elements it is both waterproof and heat resistant. The use of ETFE (Ethylene Tetrafluoroethylene) material ensures decent conversion efficiency while providing durability and protection against water and heat damage. In terms of performance, I have consistently achieved 25-50 watts of power output on partly sunny to sunny days, even without being on the water or in an open field. This reliable power generation allows me to charge my power station or battery charger regulator during the day, ensuring a steady supply of energy for my camping and boating needs. The universal MC4 connectors provided with the solar panel make it easy to connect to various power stations or battery charger regulators, further enhancing its versatility and compatibility. I can confidently harness solar energy to meet my power and charging needs.
