ATEM POWER Monocrystalline 55W Flexible Solar Panel 245° Bendable 12V Portable Solar Charger with Uneven Surfaces Lightweight for RV Tent Roof Boat…
Energy Optimization Tech: This 55w flexible solar panel features more energy harvesting per square meter and less energy losses due to shading. Thus the flexible solar panel produces more power with an energy conversion efficiency of 22%. For a 10-day camping trip, you can take your smartphone, laptop and full-sized DSLR with assurance.
Subversive ETFE Tech: These films of the 55w flexible solar panel feature high light penetration rate, excellent flexibility, and are more heat resistant than PET films of other solar panels. Thanks to the non-adhesive surface, they also make the solar panel stain resistant and “self-cleaning”. So you don’t need to struggle with regular cleaning of your flexible solar panel to reach optimum performance.
Born with Flexibility: This flexible solar panel is flexible up to 245 degrees, meeting a wider range of applications than many other flexible solar panel. And the 55w solar panel is also less than a tenth of an inch thin and super lightweight to make transportation and installation a breeze. Whether you have a boat or RV, this monocrystalline solar panel fits seamlessly & effortlessly on every surface like a rug.
Address Diverse Needs: As your dependable companion off-grid, the solar panel performs in various elements, like rain & snow. And the RV solar panel can withstand extreme wind of up to 2400 Pa & snow loads of up to 5400 Pa. Thus this 55w solar panel is ideal for overlanding tents, RVs & marine boats. And this flexible solar panel is compatible with lead acid, ternary lithium-ion & LiFePO4 batteries.
Easy to Set up: The ATEM POWER 55w solar panel can be installed with adhesives and/or 4 metal reinforced mounting holes at each corner onto the bimini of your boat or even over a flexible awning. With preinstalled connectors, the flexible solar panel can directly connect to solar compatible devices. And a 2-year warranty serves as quality assurance of this 100w flexible solar panel.

Got two panels to put side by side. Received basically a gray one and a black one. Other than that they both seem to work fine. Would’ve like better quality control.

I bought two of these 100w solar panels and combined I’m getting at its highest 88w during full sun and between 11-4pm. Poor efficiency.

Makes rated wattage and even works good in indirect light. Thanks!

I installed 2 ATEM 100W panels on the roof of my camper. They have been decent performers, even in less-than-direct sunlight. No complaints there. But both of them just stopped working, each now putting out only 1-3 watts. This happened after washing the roof of the camper including the panels. There are cracks in the plastic around where the cables enter the panels and maybe water got in there? ATEM customer support might be able to help if there is a fix, but I have not been able to find their contact information. So I’m posting this not so much to complain but in hopes ATEM customer support will contact me. I’ll update if there is any new information.

In my first use with my GoLabs i200, its output was about 40W (73% of the claimed 55W), near noon in Canada, in August (late summer), with clear sky and perpendicular to the sun. Not too bad at all. I believe that under optimal situation (with the sun higher) it can get the claimed 55W. I put my hand in front of the panel, and the input dropped to 25-30W, which I think is fair. I was afraid as some people said in the review of some other solar panels that it would drop significantly. I liked that the panel is very lightweight, not too wobbly, and seems well built (the sealant work around the connectors could be better though).

I compared this solar panel under the same angle and same sun intensity to 2 other comparable solar panels I have.
On two different days I only got about 30-40W as compared to the advertised 55W. Over-rated. But works.
Secondly, after a long time under full sun when you try to move the panel starts to crackle which is a sign of poor construction. very fragile and thinner than others I tested.

Co returned message to help me trouble shoot my problem. Thank you! It wasn’t the panel! The first time I used it with sae cigarette plug adapter from another panel kit and it worked fine. I tried to use again with a set of sae alligator clips and it didn’t work…figured out the polarity coming out of the mppt controller has reversed polarity…put a reverse adapter in and worked fine! Why do they do this!

I bought this panel because I was disappointed in the performance of my jackery panels. I like the flex and versatility of this panel, but it seems that all panels lie about their output. The fine print will tell you that 55 watts is possible, but really only outside the Earth’s atmosphere or on the surface of the sun. In reality, you should expect half the advertised output under direct sunlight at high noon. I find that frustrating, but once you know what to expect you can figure out what you need

Works even better than expected! Definitely worth it.

Mounted on my 25′ sailboat and is keeping my battery charged for my bilge pump just as I hoped it would. Battery was almost dead when I mounted this and it brought it up to full charge in a day or so.

I do not know in what kind of testing conditions or under what parameters this company can claim this solar panel will put out 100 Watts, but under the scorching and very strong Florida Sun, at the best possible angle this panel will barely show 50-60 Watts in a Victron controller app. Chinese product claims of performance must be taking with a grain of salt.
