Well, I was a trifle disappointed. I found the main image to be slightly misleading. The panel is not as large as it seems. I am showing a picture next to an apple for size reference. Don’t expect to get any lift with this pump, it appears to be made for little bodies of water that won’t accommodate one of the solar fountains with the panels already built in. I don’t know what the advantage of this is other than being able to turn a bird bath into a fountain. It does function. When the sun hits the panel, you get a small stream of steady water that you can alter effects with the included nozzles. I think you are limited to using this fountain/pump in bird baths only. The description does mention that you can use it in ponds or fish tanks, but your fish tank would have to be next to the sun and your pond would need to be only two inches deep. I can’t really think of a use for it. I can’t use it in an exisiting fountain, I can’t use it in my pond which is too deep But now that you know better, hopefully you can decide if this will work for your application. Basically, I see it as perfect for getting a fountain to work in a tight spot I’m rating it for that but removed a star for the above mentioned reasons.

I used this in my kids water table, I added a rubber hose and it works well. It only works when the sun is on it so no battery storage which is fine for what I’m using it for anyway. I did have to bang on the pump a bit to get it to start up but did get it going eventually.

Easy no-brainer setup and works quite well for a little pump. I have installed it in a Tupperware quart tub with 3 inches of a large plastic straw attached and ran into a turkey baster bulb with a 3/8 hole cut in top for water to bubble up making a perfect hummingbird bath. There are no batteries so it only runs when bright sun or slightly cloudy which is just fine. Gave 4 stars because it’s only been a week running with 2 days total cloud cover, will edit review after a lil time has past. All in all I’m satisfied and happy with this purchase.

The material quality of this solar fountain is as crappy as can be, mate. Feels flimsy and cheap, lacking the durability and longevity you’d expect for outdoor products.

I have a 35 gallon pond in my front yard that has a small bamboo fountain. Since this is a distance from electricity, I chose this. It is able to successfully power my fountain and provide enough water flow as long as the sun is out. It would be nice if there was some kind of battery storage capability but I guess this is better than nothing.

Missing all the attachments, very small pump but pretty powerful. The solar panel is very sensitive and immediately turns off when not in strong sunlight

It came missing a part and it only works when the sun is shining on it.
