Absolutely love it. Powered my portable Pitboss pellet grill like a Boss. 3hr run time at average 350deg only dropped battery 9%. That was with 2 start ups that hit 170 watt for a few minutes. It’s a great product and has helped when power went out, can’t wait to try it on more stuff. Only thing I would do to make it better but isn’t a deal breaker would be the side light could be a quite a bit bigger.

Powerful battery in a tiny light package. I use this battery to power my astrophotography rig outside. It powered my mount, camera and tiny computer for many hours. I calculated it could have powered my setup all night.

I love it. I can’t believe how fast it charges. I’d be interested in an A/C adapter though that would plug into the 12V charging ports.

I bought it, because I wanted to charge my electric car like Citroen AMI, so I get 25 km in one hour and that is amazing and also for work as cameramen to can use it as silent power generator during camera-work.

the 550 works great on output, however, the slow 7.5 HOUR CHARGE time is very disappointing and limits its applications.

I live in SW Florida…. yep, right where Hurricane Ian just hit. We were having such a quiet hurricane season this year that I almost put off getting the solar generator. Luckily I listened to my inner voice that said ‘get it. now’. I ordered the 1500, and a month later we were hit with Ian. We have a gas generator, but it wouldn’t crank up. This solar generator made life so much more bearable. I could make my coffee, plug in my hot plate to cook dinner, turn on a lamp and fans, charge our cell phones. I was super impressed at how long the generator power lasted and how easy it was to charge up again in my yard. Best part …. it’s quiet. The sound of neighbors noisy generators made us really appreciate the silence of this generator, plus no need to drive around looking for gas when it’s scarce during hurricanes. It’s hard to describe how much we absolutely love this generator, and we’re telling everyone about it…! If you live in a Hurricane zone, this is essential.

I absolutely love jackery products. I’ve gotten through extreme weather and power outages with my generators. I’m getting ready to upgrade to the 2000

Very satisfied with product. 4 stars for instruction manual, no explanation for ac or DC buttons, on the site no videos for setup, and one say I can charge and use but the other does not recommend it. Will be testing this unit for the next few months.

I bought the explorer 290 so I could bring a little portable power to my farm. Charging up tools and running small air pumps. Last night it ran my cpap for 8.5 hours from about a 94% charge with 15% power left when I woke up. Couldn’t be happier. I’m ordering the 60w solar panel. If it keeps performing like it has I plan on getting the explorer 1500.

I have waited 8 months to write this review. Last year I took took two Jackery 240’s and two 60 watt foldable Jackery panels to friends in Haiti. It was the most simple and efficient way I could think of to bring electricity to provide for the very basic need of charging cell phones and laptops, night time lighting, and power a small fan on hot nights. Seems these are targeted at occasional “camping trips” so I was unsure how they would do with the rigger of EVERYDAY usage. ….after 8 months here is my report – the batteries are still performing perfectly and have been absolutely life changing. The Jackery panels both failed after 3 months of daily use but were easily replaced by rigid standard panels.
