I like everything about the panel. Works great and I don’t have to make trips to my cameras.

I have some that have been out in the weather for 5 years keeping the 12V batts charged on my trail cams. Have 7 total but I only buy them when they are on sale for $17.

Have had these for 2 years now and they have given me no issues. They charge up a 6v battery for deer feeders. Only problem have been the squirrels hanging from them. They don’t even get full sun all day long (but they do get a few hours at least of full sun). One less thing to worry about.

I was not able to use the mount, my issue not the sellers. I feel the wire size for DC power of 12V to be very tiny (DC amps loss thru small wire means longer to charge). Woks well where constant discharge is NOT an issue, Mine runs a feeder motor for 5 seconds twice a day so its fine for me after I removed all excess wire.

I purchased this unit because I had already gone through 2 Moultrie solar panels. Each lasted less than 1 summer – squirrels kept chewing through the wire. I tried wrapping the wire in plastic (automotive) wire loom without success and couldn’t find any tiny armorflex so I bought this unit. Hopefully after I kludge this together on my deer feeder it will work – see below.
I received this yesterday, unpacked and noticed the SS armor cable was shorter than expected. The description (and a question) showed from 24-36″ long. The actual length from connector to connector is just shy of 22″ (~21 7/8 or metric equivalent). I needed an absolute minimum of 23″ to reach the battery housing of the deer feeder.
I’m going to try to use this with some “Chinese finger cot” type metal sheathing I have for that last little bit. Hopefully the squirrels won’t be able to chew through that part. If this doesn’t work I’ll return and go back to the drawing board – and update this review.

This is advertised as a 6 volt panel. However, output is much higher than 6 volt. In direct sunlight it maintains a 11+ volt output. This was relatively late in the day as well. I would expect this to be over 12 volts in direct sunlight in the middle of the day. Fine for me, but some 6 volt applications may not like this higher voltage. I want to charge a 6 volt battery with mine. This should charge it up quick but then ill definitely need to disconnect it once charged.
