Renogy 800 Watt 12V Monocrystalline Solar Premium Kit Off Grid System 8pcs 100W Solar Panel with 60A MPPT Rover Charger Controller, Bluetooth…
【Efficient Performance】The Premium Kit will produce an average of 3.5-4kWh of electricity per day (Based on 5 hours of direct sunlight conditions). The bypass diode can ensure the panel has an excellent performance in a low-light environment and the TPT back sheet dissipates excess heat to ensure smooth output performance. The Module Efficiency can reach 17.8%.
【Solid Quality】Advanced encapsulation material with multi-layered sheet laminations protects cells from physical damage or distortion, improving cell performance and providing a long service life.
【Ready to Install】This Renogy Solar Kit includes the equipment necessary for building a new system, such as necessary cables, Z-brackets, and pre-drilled holes on the back frame of the panel, allowing fast and secure mounting. With the Rover Li 60A MPPT charge controller, the kit can meet your further power needs by adding more of the same solar panels; for example, a 24V system expandable up to 1600W.
【Stay Connected】Easily monitor by your phone. The BT1 Bluetooth module can pair with Renogy DC Home App and transmits system operation data directly to your phone, the Bluetooth signal available up to 82ft.
【Full System Protection】The Rover Li 60A MPPT Charge Controller has built-in protection to safeguard your systems, such as reverse polarity protection, overcharging protection, overload protection, short circuit protection, etc. This kit is also equipped with an In-line fuse and ANL fuse components, devised to add overcurrent protection on your charge controller and battery bank.

I got everything laid out and dry fitting the panels and wiring and realized I couldn’t make the connections for my series/parallel setup. It was almost 5 pm and Platt electric was closing soon. I had to wait until next day to pick up the parts and return to my toy hauler to complete the install. Wish I knew this ahead of time!!! Any who, install was simple, once I figured out where all the pre-wiring was at, hence my location for the charger. Everything came on line and after 2 weeks my batteries are always charged and it produces more power than what I use with everything on except the roof top AC’s. I’ll be expanding my solar panels in the future now that I’ve gained some experience. Except, next time, I’ll be going with the 550 watt panels and later charger in parallel configuration to up my requirements for the AC usage

Renogy has always provided a quality (albeit pricey) product line and I have been a loyal customer for many years. A recently ordered kit arrived well packaged and undamaged but missing a minor 2-foot cable. It appears Renogy has gone to the dark side and outsourced their customer service to a third-party offshore vendor. Trying to get a replacement for this missing item (less than 10-dollars in value out of 1400-dollar kit) has been onerous to say the least. The list of reputable solar suppliers with excellent product and customer support is growing, but Renogy no longer seems to be on that list.

Works great and has keep my batteries charged ever since solar panels were installed. Without solar system the batteries would not start the motorhome in 2-3 days of not starting engine.

Instructions could have been better. But, you can only wire it one way. Very solid investment for my off grid camp. I had a 200 watt Renogy in place. I also had 5 other panels and two other controllers. Got rid of everything accept the 100W Renogy and now the 800w Renogy. Ratings are not equal to output – they never are and there many factors to that equation. All batteries were fully charged and I was running my absorption refrigerator on electrical power instead of propane. There are many choices for solar, the best choice you can make is to go with Renogy. Definitely worth it. I am an idiot! But, even I figured out the MPPT controller with no issues. Well, that’s a lie, I did not even attempt the blue tooth cajiga thingy.

*WARNING* Both the Renogy website and Amazon listing states the 800 watt solar kit is complete and all you need to set it up. That is false. Both sites have a diagram instructing you to set up the panels in a parallel-series configuration. However, nowhere do they state you must have 2 additional extension cables to do this that are not included in the kit. Like me, you may be prepared to install it immediately only to discover you must order those 2 cables separately. Now I must wait additional days? weeks? for the cables to arrive. This should be made clear from the beginning. When I called tech support, I was told this is a common complaint from many customers. Renogy simply refuses to change their advertising to reflect this. So far I’ve had no complaints about the actual hardware, but this lack of accurate information has happened multiple times when dealing with Renogy and is a major inconvenience. Shape up Renogy. This is how you lose customers.
