This is the third Senville I have purchased and all have worked flawlessly. My last order was damaged by the shipper and I called Senville Support to report that I had rejected the delivery (looked like the shipper ran a forklift into the outside condensor). Senville Support shipped a new unit the next day. Their support line answers the call within a few rings which is impressive.

Perfect for my little cabin.

Was an easy install , runs great , so quite and I love to walk by it outside on Eco mode and it is running just fast enough to hold the indoor temp, not wide open sucking power and money like my central ducted system. These guys did there homework, the mounts to the main unit, the built in balance lift point, level for the mount. Brackets to hold the covers open you need to access. There engineers though of all the things that you ask “ if they would have done this it would be so helpful “ these folks did think of it and incorporated them. Well built , cost to run is a 1/3 of my ducted system or less. Cools great , looking forward to winter to test the heating.

Unit seems to work fine. What does not work is they claim it is WIFI, but it only works with Alexa and not even their own APP. I tried contacted them by phone and calls went nowhere, if I was able to leave a message my calls were never returned. I tried communicating with them through chat on their website to no avail. I looked in their “Knowledge Base” and only when looking for a tangentially related question did I get an answer and that answer sucks… It *seems* their dongle only works with Alexa and not even their own APP!
So unless you have Alexa, this thing is NOT WIFI.

As a HVAC tech, I can get these cheaper on Amazon than local wholesalers. These are exact same as some other more expensive brands. Has to be a factory, somewhere, turning out these units for several companies. This one (9000 aurora series) out performs my 5 year old 12000 comfortaire units.
For the money, I think this is currently the best deal you can get.

I’m cooling a 800 sq ft shop with 14’ eves and and an uninsulated roof and it does better than expected! We just had some 104 degree days and my shop was easily in the low 70’s. Install was straight forward!

I now have 2 senville units, the 24000 btu aura and this 9000 btu model. The 24000 I’ve had for a couple of years and it’s worked amazingly well. Performs great even at temps below 0 degrees and cools effortlessly even with temps around 100 degrees. This unit seems no different so far and after switching to these from my old ac my electric bill is significantly less. Both units have really solid build quality and hopefully last a long time. These come packaged well on a pallet and installation isn’t too difficult although it helps to have a background in mechanical and electrical work as well as being hvac certified. Installation took about 5 to 6 hours and that includes vacuuming the lines out and checking for leaks. These are also incredibly quiet for how well the perform. All in all I’m very satisfied so far with these units and would buy more if I needed to.

First it was easy to install if you’ve done this kind of thing before. You’ll need a vacuum pump with gauges and a set of hoses, plus a shraeder adapter to connect the hose to the minisplit. You’ll also want some pump oil for the pump. Everything else you need for a basic install is included in this kit outside of tools to drive bolts, drill holes, etc.
Performance is incredible. 210sqft shop from 28 C down to 22.5 in 10-15 minutes. Make sure your space is insulated and this won’t have to run very long at all to maintain temps.
i was worried about the possible noise from the fan and compressor outside, but honestly, it’s dead quiet. You have to put your head right up close to the unit to hear it running. There’s just comparison to the super loud traditional fan units of central AC.
This is far and away the best shop upgrade I have ever made, and in the dead of winter or the sweltering summer, it’s the most valuable tool in the place. Without it, the space wouldn’t be usable most of the year.

The system was delivered on a pallet in a semi-truck. The truck was unable to traverse a narrow steep road to my driveway. I had to meet them up the hill using my small trailer (I expected that before they arrived).
Unit is heavy so have someone available to help move it into place (I used a good dolly).
Packaging was a little beat up, but inside unit had no damage.
I was replacing an older unit, so it was somewhat “Plug-and-Play”.
Very quite (inside and outside).
Happy with the system so far.

I bought the aura model because of the higher seer rating and because it will provide heat down to -30. So far I couldn’t be happier, it’s doing everything is supposed to do, it’s keeping my workshop nice and warm. November was a reasonably warm month where I’m located so it’s perhaps not the best test but my electric bill was only about $20 higher than normal with this unit keeping my 16 x 20‘ workshop at 60°. Temperature dipped down to 12° below during that time. It had no trouble at all. The only negative I have is that it doesn’t seem possible to set the temperature at less than 60° because it’s a workshop and sometimes I don’t go out there for two or three days I would like the ability to turn it down to somewhere around 45°. I specifically bought this model with Alexa so that I could control the shop from the house. I thought I’d be able to turn it down and then turn it up before I went out there. But as long as the electric bill doesn’t increase $40 a month I guess it really doesn’t matter . I’m really pleased with the Seville brand the first one I bought has been working flawlessly for six years. Both came extremely well packaged with very clear instructions, installation was a breeze. I was able to do everything myself as in the actual start up, I got a HVAC technician to do the start up for warranty purposes. He only charged me $160. And commented that the unit seem to be extremely well-built.
