So far, so good. Surprising power from such a small pump. Only drawback is the solar panel does not have a stand but can work around that but pump started to work as soon as the sun hit the panel and has more force than what came with the fountain originally.

This solar fountain is the best purchasing choice for those who want a garden water feature. It is very easy to use; I just need to place the solar-powered drinking fountain pump in the water and set the nozzle on the surface. By facing the solar panel towards the sun, it can start working automatically within seconds. All of this is very easy, and I can finish this task by myself in a short time, so even beginners can easily get started without worrying about it being very troublesome to use. There are also no issues with placement, as the wire between the solar panel and the water pump is long enough to cover a large area. There’s no need to worry about the pump not working in shaded areas.

This pump is totally solar powered without any batter backup. It needs full direct sun to pump constantly. When the sun is partially exposed to the panel, the pump with cycle off and on. For what I wanted to do with it, it’s fine. I just wanted solar powered water flow in my small indoor aquarium which is near a morning facing window. The morning sun provides some additional water circulation for several hours a day. The solar panel is fixed to the cable and to the pump so it is all “one piece”. This makes it slightly challenging of you need to wire the cable through something small.
